Chris Taft

Chris Taft is chief financial officer of Advantum Health, where he oversees the company’s global finance, legal and strategy functions. Since joining Advantum in 2016 as director of business development, Chris has played an integral role in the company’s growth, serving in several leadership positions across business analysis, finance and acquisitions. He received a Best in Finance Award in 2023 and was named to the 2025 Forty Under 40 class.

Before joining Advantum, Chris began his career in wealth management with Merrill Lynch and UBS. He later co-founded a New York-based mobile application startup, raising capital and bringing its product to market. His experience also includes advising early-stage companies and serving on corporate and nonprofit boards including The Sheepscot Island Company, Best Buddies, The Pendennis Club, the Louisville Sports Commission and Junior Achievement.

Chris earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from the University of Richmond and an MBA from the University of Louisville. Outside the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters.
