Qualifications: Graduate in Lifesciences with Coding certifications : CPC, CCS
Years of Experience: Minimum 3 years of training experience and overall 6 years of experience

Role & responsibilities:

·         Conduct new hire trainings for onboarded resources mostly freshers (life science graduates) and coding specialists across Global locations

·         To create presentations, develops learning material, handbook, and other required training materials.

·         Floor support to coders during transitions to ensure quality standard maintenance during ramp-up period

·         Conduct focused trainings for quality improvement based on error findings

·         Publish monthly articles/updates on Healthcare regularly for enhancing coders knowledge and expertise

·         Ensure timely completion of onboarding compliance trainings for new hires as per Global and client requirement

·         To participate in client calls, meeting and KT sessions as per requirement

·         Lead training sessions on current updates in the medical coding field for both UAE and US based healthcare systems

·         Training fresher’s for Coding certifications (CPC, CCS etc).

·         Training coders on US health care systems its updates as per protocol

·         Organize and participate in coding and reimbursement meetings.

·         Review and respond to coding questions.

·         Research updated coding information.

·         Communicate changes to physicians and coding staff.

·         Conduct coding reviews and training programs to assure coding quality.

·         Ensure billed service is being accurately coded.

·         Perform random chart audits.

·         Hold regular meetings to communicate new findings.

·         Perform analysis of benchmarking profiles.

·         Provide continual coding and payer updates.

·         Research coding issues that arise.

·         Maintain knowledge of ICD10 and CPT classifications and coding of diagnoses and procedures
