Meet Urmila Ramasetti, a rockstar in the finance world who’s breaking stereotypes and blazing trails in her field. Urmila’s job title is Senior Accounts Associate, which means she’s pretty high up in the finance department. But how did she get there?
Well, after finishing her MBA, Urmila landed a job as an accountant at a small manufacturing company. She chose accounting because she loves working with numbers and solving puzzles. Plus, she saw lots of cool career opportunities in the field.
Urmila went to Andhra University for her undergraduate degree and then to Alwar School of Business and Computers for her MBA. She studied commerce for her bachelor’s degree and focused on finance and marketing for her MBA.
What does Urmila love most about work at Advantum? She’s a whiz at spotting mistakes in numbers and enjoys working with lots of data. She says her job is like solving exciting challenges every day, and she’s always learning something new.
But it’s not all smooth sailing in the finance world. Urmila sees some big challenges coming up. Things like making sure customers have a great experience, keeping up with fancy technology like AI, and keeping everyone’s data safe are all big deals. Plus, there’s a lot of rules and regulations to follow, which can be tricky.
